The awards are held on April 9, 2008 at the "Celebrate
Success" event at the Rosetown Civic Centre. The
reception begins at 5:30 and is followed by a dinner,
entertainment by comedian Tom Liske and the awards
ceremony.
The Rosetown
Lions Club is generously sponsoring
the Business of the Year award this year.
This
is the 6th annual business awards and the first year for
it to be an event on its own.
"Celebrate Success" is the first annual and hopefully it
will just get bigger and better every year following. The
Community Event award is on its second year. It is the
30th Anniversary of the Citizen of the Year award.
